Preparing for School
For information about preparing your child to school you can follow this link to the lancashire website or download the leaflet at the bottom of the page.
Reception follows the Early Years curriculum which is split into seven areas of learning. At Primet we teach these areas through a balance of focused activities with an adult and through planned play within the areas of the classroom, shared area and outdoor area, which are enhanced with activities related to our topic and children's interests. At all times, we consider characteristics of effective learning which promotes positive attitudes to learning, enthusiasm for knowledge, and the confidence to become successful learners.
