Fine and Gross Motor Skills

Please see the attachments below to support your child with their fine and gross motor skills.

Fine motor skill difficulties may be shown through your child struggling with their handwriting, difficulties holding a pen and any other difficulties with hand/finger activities.

Gross motor skill difficulties may be shown by a child struggling to balance, hop, skip, jump or move with control.

Motor skills develop with age and most children have good fine and gross motor skills by the time they reach Key Stage 2. If your child is having difficulties, or has had fine/gross motor skills targets before from school, please feel free to use the resources below to support them in developing their skills

Please let us know if you need any copies printing for you or if you need support using any of these resources.
