In English, we will continue to read Aladdin and will write a letter and a poem.  

Maths

In Maths, we will be revisiting and learning how to use mental strategies for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will also be learning about time,  position, direction, statistics and how to compare measurements.

In Science, we will be learning about different types of materials and what the

Geography

In Geography, we will be focussing on the seaside. We will be looking at Blackpool and locating this on the map. We will be finding out which features give Blackpool its character and learning some new geographical vocabulary, such as shore, bay, harbour and port. 

DT

In DT, we will be exploring materials and will be making a puppet. 

Music

In Music, we will be learning all about Charlie Chaplin and composing our own soundtrack. 

Computing

In Computing, we will be following the unit 'Programming B'. This unit is focused on programming our own interactive quiz.
