At Primet Primary, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, achieve and discover their own potential – a school where every child is recognised as an individual, where their strengths and talents are nurtured, and where they are inspired to become the very best version of themselves.

We want every child to feel that they belong, that they matter and that they can succeed. We aim to create a school where children are encouraged to dream big, embrace challenge and celebrate their progress. Alongside academic success, we want our pupils to develop the confidence, character, curiosity and resilience they need to flourish both in school and beyond.

We encourage everyone at Primet to aim high, work hard, celebrate progress and never give up. We believe that achievement comes in many forms and that every step forward is worth celebrating. We want our children to develop a love of learning, to be curious about the world around them and to have the confidence to take on new challenges.

Respect

We want Primet to be a place where everyone feels safe, valued and accepted. We teach our children to be kind, show respect, make good choices and look after each other. We celebrate difference and recognise that every individual brings something special to our community. By treating ourselves, each other and our world with respect, we create a school where everyone can flourish and feel proud to belong.

We are one community. We believe in working in partnership, supporting each other and recognising that we are stronger together. Our school belongs not only to our pupils and staff, but to the families and wider community around us. Being a Primet Pupil

Being a Primet pupil is about much more than what happens in the classroom. It is about developing the skills, attitudes and character to make a positive difference — to yourself, to others and to the world around you. We want our children to leave Primet with a sense of achievement, responsibility and togetherness. We want them to be proud of who they are, proud of what they have achieved and excited about what comes next. Above all, we want every child to look back on their time at Primet and know that they were known, valued, challenged, supported and believed in.
