This half-term we are reading stories of different cultures focusing on the Amazon Basin. Learning will be centred on 'The Vanishing Rainforest' and 'The Great Kapok Tree'.  Children will learn about the effects of deforestation and will use their knowledge to write a speech as well as take part in a debate.
