Mr Haworth and Miss O'Keefe would like to welcome you to Year 3.

We are excited to embark on a range of new and engaging topics across the curriculum full of curiosity, creativity, and discovery! These are the topics we will cover this year:

Below is our weekly timetable, which highlights the subjects your child will be learning each week. It provides an overview of what a typical week in Year 3 looks like.

Class Timetable

PE

In Year 3, we have PE every Tuesday and Wednesday so remember to have your kit in school and make sure it's labelled.

Homework

This is to be completed weekly and consists of reading, spellings and times tables.

Spellings: Children are given 10 spellings every Monday that need to be practised every day. These are tested every Friday. 

Times tables: Use timestables.co.uk to help learn your times tables.

Reading: Children are expected to read at home and bring their book bag to school every day. Remember to fill in reading records.
