Year 2
Welcome to Year 2's class page
Miss Richards and Miss Jackson are delighted to welcome you and your child to Year 2. We’re looking forward to an exciting and successful year filled with learning, growth, and fun.
We’re starting the year with an exciting local geography topic called 'Through the Keyhole'. In this unit, the children will build their enquiry skills by planning, carrying out and evaluating a field-work study in the local area. Here are all the topics we are learning about this year:
- Through the Keyhole
- Once upon a time
- What makes a hero?
- What a Wonderful World!
- Beside the Seaside
- Buckets and Spades
You can find more details of what you will be learning this year by clicking on the links in the blue box.
Below, you’ll find our weekly timetable, which outlines the subjects and activities your child will take part in throughout the week. This will give you a clearer picture of what a typical week in Year 2 looks like.
