Year 1
Welcome to Year 1 with Mrs Dale and Miss Shaughnessy.
We have lots of fun learning planned for the year which include teacher-led lessons and through continous provision. We are still building our skills from Reception and therefore have access to play in the classroom through child-led activities.
These activities are all linked to our topics for the children to build on their own ideas and skills which promote a love for learning!
In Year 1 we have PE taught by Sam every Monday and Tuesday, so please remember to have your kit in school and that all clothing and footwear is labelled.
Our weekly timetable:
Our Autumn 2 topic is 'Festivals and Celebrations'. 
We will be reading 'Room on the Broom' and focusing our writing on this text.
We will aslo be learning about different celebrations and festivals!
