This half-term, we will be learning about waves, flows and vibrations through geography and science.                   

In Literacy, we will be studying 'The Snow Queen' from the story by Hans Christian Anderson. We will be developing our own narratives and recounts based upon the book.

Geography

This half-term's topic, we will be studying rivers. This will include how rivers are formed, naming parts and features of rivers, major rivers of the UK as well as major rivers of the world. We will also be looking into how rivers have been used historically and currently.

Science 

We will be looking into how sounds are created. How the pitch of the sound is related to the frequency and how different materials affect the speed of the sound waves.
