In this English and Art based topic, children will learn incredible life stories and art based on Day of the Dead masks, traditional masks created in Mexico.  In Geography, children will study earthquakes and volcanoes with a focus on Mexico.  As part of this, children have the opportunity to research how volcanoes and earthquakes affect life in Mexico.

In English children read about several amazing and inspirational people and young adults. We will then use the skills learnt to write a biography for a fictional character.
