The Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme is based on the original Letters and Sounds but has been extensively updated to meet all the expectations of the National Curriculum.

Phonics is taught daily for children working within Phases 1–5. From Phase 2 onwards, pupils also take part in three additional reading practice sessions each week to build fluency and confidence in decoding.
