Skills Progression
Our Geography curriculum is carefully sequenced to ensure progression from EYFS to Year 6. Children begin by exploring their immediate environment and learning simple locational language. As they move through school, they develop map skills, use directional language, and interpret geographical information with increasing accuracy. By Year 6, pupils confidently use atlases, OS maps, and digital tools, apply enquiry skills to investigate human and physical features, and understand global patterns and processes.
