Our Art curriculum is organised into creative, well-sequenced units that link meaningfully to each year group’s wider topics. Across EYFS to Year 6, children explore a diverse range of artists, themes and techniques, from observational drawing and collage to sculpture, textiles, digital art and printmaking. Each unit builds upon prior skills while introducing new materials, cultural influences and creative challenges. Through this progression, pupils develop confidence, curiosity and artistic mastery, experiencing a rich balance of traditional and contemporary art forms that inspire them to express themselves and produce thoughtful, high-quality work.
