This half-term, we will be learning about our wonderful world including the vast ocean. We will be reading stories all the animals that live in the sea and how we must take care of them. We will learn about reduce, reusing and recycling. 

We will also be learning about natural seasonal changes in summer. We will look at how the sun creates shades and investigate floating and sinking. We will also compare beach side holidays now-a-days to those of the past. 

We’ll be getting ready for the transition to Year 1 by practising coming into school independently, playing on the 'big yard', our new teaching visiting us in reception, us visiting the year 1 classroom and more independent learning activities.
