How light travels

Science investigations of how light travels.

Today in science, year 6 investigated how light travels.  Thinking like scientists, the children worked in groups to find out if light really travels in straight lines.

They set up their investigation with cards and a torch and shone the light through the aligned holes. When they did this, the light shone through!  Children were excited to try and move the card in different directions just to double check! However, all groups confirmed that light only travels in stright lines.

Today's Super Scientisits were: Aqsa and Oliver!
