Worry Box

Life can sometimes be tricky and it can make you feel sad, lonely, worried, nervous and all sorts of other emotions. This can happen to anyone at anytime! We want to help you with any worries you have, so please come and talk to us! It is OK to be worried about things and often the more you talk about a worry the smaller it will get!

Using a worry box is a good way to help manage stressful feelings. By using a worry box, you can focus and think about the things that are making you worry, and then contain your worries in the box for someone else to hold on to for safe keeping.

Worry Box | Claregate Primary

To post a worry into the virtual worry box please just click here and complete the online form.  This form is emailed to Ros who will hold your worry for you.  If you want, Ros can contact you about your worry but if you would rather just pass your worry on so you no longer have to think about it that’s fine too!

Ros will only share worries with anyone else if she is worried you or someone else could be in danger so then you and your family can get the help and support needed.

Worries are like visitors that sometimes come your way.

Draw or write about what’s bothering you and then tuck those worries away.

Inside this box, your worry visitors can rest and stay.

Take a few deep breaths, say bye for now and move forward to create a great day!
